PETERS

Phala Grace was born May 23, 1941, in Russell, KS. Following a long, debilitating illness, Phala left this world on May 12, to assume her new and vibrant spiritual body in Christ. She was an active member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church where she enjoyed singing in the choir, leading the contemporary worship service and directing the 4 and 5 year olds in the Cherub Choir. Phala also enjoyed donating her time to several charitable organizations, including the Oklahoma City Food Pantry and Oaks Indian Center for orphaned children. She was a kind and loving wife, daughter, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend.

Phala is survived by her husband, Gerald, of the home; father, Clayton Hollinger of Hurst, TX; daughter, Michelle Biddle and her husband, Michael of Mustang; daughter, Merideth Miller of Austin, TX; sister, Twila Jackson and her husband, Michael of Hurst, TX; 3 step-children; and 6 grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her mother, Thelma Hollinger.

Service is scheduled for May 15, at 3:00 p.m. at St. Paul's Lutheran Church. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the memorial established in her name at the church.
