ALBERT  DUWAYNE  DRAKE

                11-8-40  -  5-19-76            

Duwayne was born Nov. 8, 1940 at Yates Center and had lived in Gt. Bend since 1967.  He was a truckdriver and a member of the First Southern Baptist Church in Russell, and the Flatlanders Club of Great Bend.  He died May 19, 1976 at the age of 35. 

Surviving him were his widow, Talma; a son, Allen; and 2 daughters,   Valerie and Jennifer;  his mother, Mrs. Thelma Drake of Russell,  and brother, Gary of Salina,  and his grandmother,  Mrs. Eva Kirkpatrick,  of  Mulberry, KS. 

The funeral will be at Pohlman's funeral chapel in Russell with Rev. Roger Easter officiating.  Burial in the city cemetery.  Memorials are suggested to a trust fund for the children.
